Getting married in November can be risky—it can quickly turn into a harvest-themed affair, which would be fine for some. Just not my thing. So I knew I wanted an overall washed out affair with whites and grays, crisp and refined. Pumpkins would be sweet though. So I decided to go with the little white heirloom pumpkins –they’re so classy! For some reason the 2014 season didn’t render the whitest of pumpkins like the year before, so a little spray paint helped. Then I experimented with silver and fell in love. From there the table number idea was developed and these puppies were just scattered all over tables to embrace November without any browns or oranges. In fact the only orange that made an appearance at our wedding was the Whataburger late night snacks.
