One of the most exciting parts of being a witness to an SEC baseball team is the amazing travel destinations! While we don't have a dog or kids and I have a flexible work schedule, I'm trying my hardest to go on as many trips as possible, to see places like Oxford, Birmingham, and Baton Rouge! It's one thing to love the SEC for its downright swagger in the baseball world but it's another to appreciate the environment of its ballparks, nestled in some of the coolest cities in the southeast! Man I love this. So my friend Lauren and I ventured to Louisiana to support our husbands as their #2 Aggies faced the #1 Tigers of LSU. What an experience! And being my first time in Louisiana, I was so anxious to see landscapes of the bayou and indulge in cajun cuisine for a weekend. More later, but for now, a few images from the divinely adorable Nachitoches, the quaint town where the one and only Steel Magnolias was filmed. [DRINK YOUR JUICE, SHELBY!] It was divine. Made me miss my grandma and her thick southern accent, clothes drying on the line outside, and the simple bliss of porch sittin'. One day.
